After two years of talking and looking for a restaurant, owner Bob McKenna and chef / owner Scott Ringwood were told to take a look a Sweet Nothings. It could be a nice little restaurant with some improvements

Following several discussions and negotiations with the sellers, and meetings with the mayor of the village and building inspector, they agreed to purchase the property. An offer was made in October of 2000. They thought that the building could be greatly improved, and it seemed like a nice place for a restaurant considering the success of Sweet Nothings.

Bob and Scott are a great combination with Scott having twenty years in the restaurant business, and Bob with twenty-five years business experience.

Lake Ridge will bring a sense of charm to the village with a crafted menu that will be pleasing to everyone. Bob and Scott would like to have something for everyone, from filets to seafood, to salads, and homemade soup using Sweet Nothings' recipes. Also, mouth watering appetizers, sandwiches, fish, pasta, chicken entrees, and home made deserts.
Scott brings award winning dishes and some of the areas best creativity in lunch and dinner menus. They both guarantee the highest quality, the freshest ingredients, and the most generous portions at very competitive prices.

Lake Ridge offers a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing setting with four separate rooms for a spacious dining experience. Also, in two rooms they offer the ambiance of fireplaces for cozy winter nights.

Diners can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle, a cold bottle of beer, or their favorite cocktail. The staff is experienced with many years of providing top notch service at local restaurants. There are good restaurants, and there are great ones. The Lake Ridge goal is to be the best, and they will be because they have all the right ingredients.
